Touchstone 2.1: Evaluate a Source
ASSIGNMENT: For this essay, you will select one of the sources you have found through your preliminary research about your research topic. Which source you choose is up to you; however, it should be substantial enough that you will be able to talk about it at length, and intricate enough that it will keep you (and your reader) interested. Once you have chosen a source, you will evaluate the source on two levels:
Credibility: Using the information in this unit as a guide, evaluate the source’s authenticity and reliability.
Usefulness: Using a combination of summary and analysis, examine the source on a critical level.

Source Evaluation

My research focuses on governance, strategy, and ethics for the achievement of organizations. The thesis statement is that effective leadership is an essential element to a superior performance of an organization and business performance, as demonstrated through effective leadership, efficient communication and an inclusive approach to strategy implementation. I read this article “Analysis of Leadership Effectiveness in the Organization and Knowledge Sharing Behaviors on Organization and Employees” written by Fatma Samir Cakir, and Zafer Adiguzel, published by Sage Journals on March 31 in 2020. That is the date it was first published. The article is useful to my research since it examines the connection between leadership effectiveness as well as business performance, knowledge-sharing behavior, strategy of the firm and the performance of organizations.
